Wandsworth Garden – New Entertaining Area with Beautiful Planting

Our clients wanted an additional area at the end of their garden where they could entertain. This garden is large with stunning sculptures and it already has a big terrace near the house so this new build had to be an interesting destination. We decided to clear all the end planting including some tired yew hedging and we built a ‘platform’ using large limestone slabs with an insert of composite decking – this has given a fabulous effect. Around the sides the planting is deep and almost entirely evergreen giving the platform ‘an island amongst greenery’ effect. The addition of painted fencing, cedar wood trellising and beautiful garden furniture has made this a truly inviting area.
