Wimbledon Hard Landscaped Garden

This Wimbledon garden was loved and cared for but had become overgrown and messy. It needed new paving and fencing, new planting and a slightly new emphasis as it was to become more of a space for entertaining for adults and less for children. We stripped the garden clean and put down beautiful limestone paving, made a small pea shingle circle for a coffee table ringed by brickwork, added a water feature and lighting and built a small contemporary pergola over which plants will eventually climb. A shed and an office had to be taken into account and the height differential was dealt with by using decking steps to the upper level. The garden now awaits a a long garden table for the area by the water feature and the plants to grow! This garden incorporates contemporary with classical and our clients were delighted with the outcome.

Review from client: ‘I’d also like to say that there are not often times when I am literally ‘lost for words’ but when I can home today it was one of those moments when I walked into the garden. I shall miss the boys when they are gone. Two of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of having in our home in a very long time. Mark’ Another successful project from Carline Garland, one of the leading garden designers in South London.
