Wandsworth garden

This garden really only needed a facelift, but it had to be done in a sympathetic way to fit the beautiful York paving already in place and the high brick wall at the end of the garden.  We built the right hand side wall and the raised beds at the front of the garden making a new step up. We laid new artificial grass and planted Provencale type planting- olive trees, tall pencil Cyprus trees, agapanthus etc – a very simple but lovely solution mixing the old and new to good effect.  Difficult to know how to describe it…classical AND contemporary?  Take a look at the before shot to see the difference…
