I had quite a rushed trip to the Chelsea Flower Show this year, and I think I could recommend this approach! I had to concentrate my mind and find the essentials. There were, without doubt, some beautiful gardens, clever ideas and stunning builds and anyway who am I to sit here at my computer and criticise. Luckily there was really nothing to criciticise. The best in show was best in show but every garden had something to offer – anything from wild and posy to monumental and stark. I suggest you look at the Shoot website to really see what was what Shoot Chelsea Flower Show 2015.
But here are some of my photographs and I think you will agree that COLOUR is back particularly the magentas, carmines and oranges.
The flowers of the show were the foxgloves (everywhere) and it also won best in show in the tent, but also the VERBASCUMS!! No garden should be without them from now on.. and tell me…is the orange wallflower seriously allowed back in to our gardens because if it is I’M HAPPY!
