This is the garden which took my fancy, quickened my pulse, got my senses going – it is absolutely stunning.  The heights, the colours, the dynamics, the balance are all perfect.  Take a look at the way that the Iris ‘Langport Wren’ matches the wood of the Arbutus trees and the wood of the structures.  I love the thick paving slabs in creamy white, the lovely libertias by the water – it is very inspirational.
