This beautiful Wimbledon garden started off as a heavily “shrubbed” (mostly rhodies) and over grown garden. We stripped out a mass of stuff but still keeping some shrubs (and adding new prettier ones – camellias, roses etc ) for shape and definition in the winter. We have since put in lovely fronds of acers, heucheras, verbenas, sisyrinchium, sambucas, lavenders, salvias etc to soften its lines – beautiful planting! And the colours are soft pinks, blues, purples, maroons, white and, of course, greens. The couple of photos at the end show how it all looked after we stripped the garden but before planting… quite a difference now.
