Take a look at my last blog to see how well this garden has come along. It is now nearly finished. You can see the raised vegetable beds, but so far no vegetables! The two areas of lawn have been laid. The hut has been painted black to give a beach effect and we have made the most of the trees that were already there. We have used railway sleepers to hold in the raised vegetable beds and we have also used them for an area at the back, which has created another seating area. We have used a small amount of box hedging to reflect the wooden statue which sits in the foreground and which gives wonderful perspective to the garden. The planting is going to be “Provencale” in style which will look wonderful with the beach effect and will add to the minimalist look of this beautiful garden. I think you will agree that this is quite a transformation!
