This Stockwell garden is ready for planting. The colours are strong – the decking stained to a dark mahogany colour to match the internal flooring and the fencing has been painted black to mask a few blips. This garden is a fine example of how you can economise when designing a garden, the fence being a good example.
The planting is about to happen and my only regret is that the client wouldn’t let us remove the prickly rose in the bed on the RHS! This had sentimental value. Otherwise the planting will be green and white to soften the harshness of the colours and there will be vegetables planted in the larger raised bed on the right hand side of the garden. The grass is real!! Becoming unusual in these small contemporary gardens!
